PLANTAR FASCIITIS

When individuals begin to experience intense pain in their heel, many know that they have acquired plantar fasciitis. This occurs when plantar fascia ligament along the bottom of the foot develops tears in the tissue. The fascia tightens up overnight which causes the most pain in the morning. Some of the common symptoms of fascia are burning, stabbing pain and aching pain in the heel. One of the major cause for plantar fasciitis is wearing incorrect shoes. Treatment of plantar fasciitis is injections, pads, proper shoes or surgery.
